今年水果價格比往年高，但青果鋪不惜成本，準備文旦、蜜桃、蘋果、龍眼、水梨、西瓜等高價水果，下午4點不到即吸引許多民眾在旁等候，4點46分普度還沒結束，民眾便失控爭拿水果，不到10分鐘，所有水果被一掃而空。

青果鋪會長高宏松表示，最早青果鋪是在普度後將水果分送給排隊民眾，但發現有人重覆排隊，最後乾脆開放自行拿取，每年民眾都等不到普度結束便「失控」，但大家對於這種熱鬧氣氛樂此不疲。
